Solar Design Engineer

 

Job Description:

• This is a full-time role for a Solar Design Engineer located in Riyadh.
• Work on detailed designing for solar PV power systems.
• Conduct site visits to collect required details for solar projects.
• Responsible for creating Solar system required layouts such as SLD, String layout .. etc.
• Prepare required 2D/3D Models using different software with shading analysis study.
• Prepare Solar PV System simulation using PVsyst.
• Prepare Techno-Commercial proposals for solar energy systems.
• Conduct a site visit with the team for Solar system troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in electrical engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in solar PV system design, and implementation for On-Grid rooftop and ground-mounted projects, with a track record of successful project implementation of solar PV projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and photovoltaic technologies.
• Familiarity in solar PV design software such as PVsyst, Sketch Up, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD for creating design layouts such us SLD, String Layout etc.
• Off-Grid/Hybrid design experience is a plus..
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional certifications in solar energy or related fields are a plus.
• Professional English speaking and writing.
